Our Non-Custodial Privacy Commitment

CoinTrader is designed from first principles with privacy as an institutional standard. We do not track user trading balances, portfolio holdings, exchange trading credentials, or wallet private keys. You can explore market screener data, live candlestick charts, and basis spreads completely anonymously without creating an account.

1.Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal data necessary to deliver high-performance market telemetry:

Authentication Data (Optional): If you choose to authenticate to sync watchlists across devices, we verify your identity via Google Firebase using Phone SMS OTP or Email Magic Link. We do not store or process passwords.
Device & Network Telemetry: Standard non-identifying telemetry including browser user-agent, operating system, and IP address for edge routing, anti-DDoS mitigation, and server performance diagnostics.
Client-Side Preferences: Your currency selection (USD vs. INR), active timeframe interval, and starred watchlist assets are stored locally in your browser's localStorage.

2.What We Never Collect

Strict Data Boundaries

CoinTrader will never request, store, or log:

Private cryptocurrency wallet keys or 12/24-word recovery seed phrases
Exchange API keys with trading or withdrawal permissions
Bank account numbers, credit card details, or fiat balances
Personal tax identification numbers or government KYC documents

3.Cookies & Local Storage

CoinTrader utilizes modern browser localStorage instead of tracking cookies to remember your interface preferences (e.g., currency mode: USD or INR, active candlestick timeframe: 15m, and starred tokens). We do not employ third-party advertising tracking cookies or behavioral tracking pixels.

4.Third-Party Infrastructure Providers

To guarantee high availability and low latency, we rely on established institutional infrastructure providers:

Google Firebase: Manages enterprise phone and email authentication under Google Cloud compliance standards.
Binance Public APIs: Provides real-time market trade and order book telemetry for spot and perpetual futures.
Vercel & Edge CDN: Powers globally distributed edge hosting and static asset acceleration.

5.Your Data Rights & Deletion

Under applicable data protection frameworks (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and global standards), you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your user account. You can clear your client-side preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache and local storage. To request complete deletion of any Firebase authentication record, contact our data protection team at privacy@cointraders.in.
